Born into a once rich family of jewelers. Her father spent his humble fortune in order to be able to keep up with his wife’s demands. The mother became addicted to opium and other luxuries, bringing them to ruin. Out of guilt and self pity, the father offed himself and left the atelier to his only daughter, Sabina. Being raised almost entirely at her father’s atelier, she developed a talent for all things creative. She slowly expanded the services of the atelier to include photography and home decoration.In a last attempt to appease his wife, the father asked for a large amount of opium from a dodgy underground kingpin. Which he surely fronted, but only to charge her father triple the cost when the time came. This left her father with a huge debt, which the man decided Sabina would inherit after her father committed suicide.
